It is a cancer awareness day and this year it falls on 13th October, during the breast cancer awareness month.
Please send me your braless pictures to email@example.com for my #NoBraDay blog on the 13th October 2013
Why am i involved in this day?
First it is for breast cancer awareness, #SaveABreast is a Ugandan campaign that i would like to contribute to with this. If this can provoke guys and gals to go and test for breast cancer then why not. It worked last year i think it can work this year too.
I love boobs. I love everything about them. Not the @katsiotho way though.
No Bra Day is mainly for girls and women who are confident enough to move around braless. These girls go braless all the time. They have enough confidence to do so. Confidence is so hard to find in women these days but with this, it is built.
This day gives you permission to let your boobs breath. It is the only day you will not be judged for not wearing a bra.
Push up bras can be tiring, they underwires cut and leave marks; straps dig into your shoulders and at the end of the day, your back and neck hurt. With this day you can let your little ones , big ones, medium ones breathe and slide where they may.
Bras can be deceiving to the people who are interested in you because of your nice rack only to be disappointed when the strap comes undone and there’s not much that gravity can take away. (FYI I don’t think majority of women wear bras for men’s viewing pleasure. I think it’s a habit that has become part of the norm like wearing underwear).
Bras can be suffocating making your shoulders feel like they are forced to stay down.
I think women should wear bras if and when they want to and take them off if and when they want to. But there’s no denying that removing your bra at the end of a long work day can be seriously satisfying.
