‘Share my post, Please’, ‘Comment’, ‘Like my post’, ‘Re tweet’; is like ‘Everybody! Stop what you are doing. Tell me how good i look. Like me and tell your friends how good i look.

Every day online you get these different requests indirectly and directly. Some you are forced to comment and others you do on your own will. Considering you are the smart pretty young thing dressed to murder some poor dude but you are not receiving any compliments, what are you to do to achieve them?

A lot of this no action phrase is happening online and with social media marketing, you put up a post with hope it will increase your rating and make you some money but you end up receiving no feedback at all not even a like.

So what are you to do to get noticed, liked, retweeted and complemented… There is something called SELECTIVE SELF REPRESENTATION, this here is a ticket to the promised land without the need of a rode to make away through the sea, it’s a plane over the sea.

But you have to learn to fly, i wouldn’t want you lost in the jungle somewhere feeding on insects because you flew off without lessons.

There was a research which was made by Jonah Berger of Wharton School Of Business about Facebook Narcissism and it showed that people with low emotional stability update their statues more because to them its therapeutic.

Sharing self relevant content online makes you over represented, and do you have to post every after another? I understand you are a pretty gal and that is a nice dress you have on plus i know we all want to show off to others that we are diamonds in the stones. But Facebook was made for many things but not therapy, please book an appointment with a good doctor regarding your deep problems you are losing it soon.

For SSR to work for you, there is need to torn down on the self related content no matter what, you need to appear appealing to avoid being profound. People who already like you, like your product will want to show it off and those who have not found you or your product are not interested so why struggle with them. Ohhh being profound does not benefit you because all things you have to write about or say have been said before either about the product or about you. Nothing is new!

SSR requires you to phrase your content for people in the know to share your materials. Like hang with the cool people so they can compliment you and let others know too. Make others feel special in your postings so that they can share your articles, posts, tweets as an extension of their thoughts. Let them relate to you, its like your friends complimenting you.

You got to realise that people rarely contribute to a conversation mainly to blogs. We all dream of people coming to our blogs and reading plus interacting with us, even learn something from them, but realistically blogging and social media is to attract an audience to buy your products and buy you. We on social media to create a message that spreads so stop making your end game.

So allow your readers to take ownership of material you write thus allowing them to self represent through your words because we all want to be perceived intelligent, intellectual, attractive and funny.

So go out and find that nice tie and shirt, try impressing a gal or two and you will get your sharing button on fire.

Am off to find my own dress….
