As the introduction blog to #UgBloggers7days said, (paraphrasing) many bloggers are in slumber land and others have never even ventured in these lands, I think some people don’t know which platforms to use. How to share what they have written and where to share it.
It is not as easy as most people think to write and share your feelings, thoughts and ideas to the world not forgetting challenges; it takes a lot of self esteem and realisation to be that open.
It should be known that no matter what we know about blogs there is always something new to learn.
In that regard, let me teach;
You can use Twitter, a mini blogging platform and couple is it up with Storify. Here you tweet all your thoughts, ideas and then compile them in a storify for sharing to people who might have missed your tweets.
Then the traditional way of blogging, Blogger, WordPress, Tumblr these old platforms have seen the ups and downs of bloggers for decades now. You just open up an account, pour your heart out there and it is easy to manage.
You can also try Notes on Facebook, if you are still afraid of the whole world knowing your thoughts. These Notes will only been seen by people your tag in them and your Facebook friends.
For a business blog, you can use the LinkedIn Pulse platforms, you blog will be shared to people you are LinkedIn with.
These here are the easy ones according to me but there are others here Mashable I have never used them. I don’t think I will, I like being where my friends are.
I can’t participate in the #SMUg14, I’m the moderator for it aimed for bloggers to win a ticket to the Social Media Summit Uganda in November, but this is my first blog for #UgBloggers7days aimed to create Uganda content through blogging.
See me around on the other platforms, my other stories will be there.
