don't screw off

Am not perfect person, am a screw up who enjoys every moment of it all.

As the leader of my life i have to determine the value additions i want in my empire and thus how deep am going to get invested in them.

Although i wish to create substantive change in my mindset but the degree of practices i use intend to eliminate the deviation required to make it happen.

So i always ask myself how fast this time, how deep do i go until i meet my opportunity to screw this one up.

When there is uncommon things i see the common in them and use them to my advantage, like now the word screw up is uncommon and actually rude to some people but  i embrace it with open hands because of the chances it offers to change and make things better.

“Real sensemaking only occurs in highly ambiguous situations where uncertainty not only elicits new ideas but provokes new ways of thinking. Artists call this sensation defamiliarization—meaning seeing common things in uncommon ways.”  Jeff DeGraff

The above quotes says it for me, the uncommon, the failed, the less likely, the unthought of happens with me, unexpected roaming around in my realm and lights up my world. My openness to life gives me the guarantee to screw it up and fix it.

Vary your days.

Feed your head.

Pay attention to what is getting energy and what is losing it.

Say “yes” more than “no.”

Cross over your own boundaries.

Bring your guitar or paintbrush or dancing shoes to work.

Be the deviant before you cross the threshold into anything news.

Be brave. There are those that will seek to undo you just for being free.

In the words of Nobel Laureate, author and philosopher Albert Camus,

“The only way to deal with an unfree world is to become so absolutely free that your very existence is an act of rebellion.”
